Zusammenfassung: Auch wenn das Konzept der Korrektur der Beinachsen zur Behandlung unikompartimenteller Arthrosen ein lang bekanntes Konzept darstellt, haben Neuerungen innerhalb der letzten Jahre gerade bei Valgisationsosteotomien bei medialer Varusgonarthrose dazu geführt, dass diese Verfahren wieder vermehrt angewendet werden. Die vorliegende Arbeit gibt eine Übersicht über die Indikationsstellung und Prinzipien der Achskorrektur zum Gelenkerhalt bei unikompartimenteller Arthrose am Beispiel der valgisierenden Tibiaosteotomie zur Behandlung der medial betonten Varusgonarthrose.
Abstract: Although the concept of correcting underlying malaligment for treating unicompartmental osteoarthritis is a long-known concept, innovations in the last years have led to significant inprovement oft he surgical technique for osteotomies around the knee. Against this background, osteotomies have been of increasing scientific and clinical interest in recent years. This paper gives an overview of the indications and principles of axial correction for joint preservation in patients with unicompartmental osteoarthritis using the example of valgus tibial osteotomy for the treatment of varus gonarthrosis.
