Zusammenfassung: Welchen Stellenwert hat die Elastografie in der MSK-Sonografie aktuell? Als Varianten unterscheidet man Strain-, Arfi- und Shear-wave-Elastografie. Publikationen finden sich für die Achillessehne, Rotatorenmanschette, Patellarsehne, Epicondylopathie, Faszien und die Muskulatur. Pathologische Gewebeveränderungen sind mit allen Methoden erfassbar – quantitativ verlässlich sind Strain-Histogramm und Shear-wave. Die praktische Anwendung an der Achillessehne bei Diagnostik und Therapiekontrolle wird demonstriert. Nur wenige Studien untersuchen bisher Krankheitsverlauf und therapeutische Konsequenzen – die Literatur wächst jedoch zur Zeit stetig.
Summary: How important is elastography in MSK sonography? Strain, arfi and shear wave elastography can be distinguished as variants. By all of these methods pathological tissue changes can be detected. Quantitatively reliable are the strain histogram and shear wave method. Already some publications for the Achilles tendon, rotator cuff, patellar tendon, epicondylopathy, fascia and musculature have been published. In this paper the practical application on the Achilles tendon during diagnosis and therapy control is demonstrated. So far only a few studies have examined the course of the disease and therapeutic consequences. But the literature is currently growing.
